Raymond O. Bourgette
CENTRAL FALLS - Raymond Oscar "Rim" Bourgette,96 died on Sunday at the R.I. Veterans Home in Bristol, RI. He was the son of the late Alfred and Aldea (Larivee) Bourgette. Born in Central Falls and a lifelong resident of the city, he was a self-employed butcher along with his father.
During WWII, he served in the US Army and was honorably discharged as a sergeant. He was a CB Radio enthusiast, known as the "Beagle Man" and was a member of the Oak Hill and Little Rhody Beagle Clubs and an avid hunter.
Survivors are one brother, Robert Bourgette of Florida and one sister, Constance Voyer of Seekonk, MA. He was the brother of the late Alfred and Lionel Bourgette, Beatrice Regan, Doris Larocque and Estelle Jette. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Friday (April 8th) in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk, MA. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket, RI.
