CUMBERLAND - Raymond D. Kelleher, 56, of High St. departed this earth and the empire he built on Monday at home.
Born in Central Falls he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Renaud) Kelleher. He was a life long Cumberland resident.
He was an auto body repairman his entire life. Ray was an avid pool player and also loved going to and watching NESC Motocross racing. For many years he could also be seen traveling up and down Broad St. and High St. in his favorite Chevelle.
He leaves three children, Shane J. Kelleher; Renee E. Kelleher and Robin L. Kelleher all of Cumberland. Two brothers, Joseph and Edward Kelleher and a sister Isabelle Gaudette all of Cumberland. He also leaves a beloved godfather and uncle, Ned Kelleher of Cumberland and five grandchildren. Ray was the former husband of Christine (Sousa) Kelleher. He was also the brother of the late Katherine Martel, Marie Glode and Elaine Carrier.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
