On Friday, April 1, 2011 during the "April Friends" National Stop Bullying Day sponsored by the 2nd Annual RI Third Eye YCW Youth Leadership Conference at the URI Feinstein Providence Campus, Cumberland's Joseph L. McCourt Middle School SMAD(Students Making A Difference) group break out into the "M-C-C-O-U-R-T" school cheer, as they march along Francis Street in downtown Providence, RI from the Feinstein Providence Campus to the Statehouse for an anti-bullying rally. At the Youth Leadership Conference to help stop senseless bullying, cyber-bullying, violence, intimidation and abuse, members from the McCourt SMAD group performed a jumping rope skit and hosted a workshop on building community in your school.
