CENTRAL FALLS â€“ Police will be out in force from now until the end of summer, intensifying the enforcement of the Juvenile Curfew Ordinance, due in part by funding secured from a Federal Justice Assistance Grant.
Juveniles found in violation of Chapter 42 of the Revised Ordinance of the City of Central Falls, pertaining to the Juvenile Curfew Ordinance, will be first issued a written warning by police whereby their parent or guardian will be contacted and turned over to their custody.
Any further violation of this ordinance could result in monetary fines or other penalties that may be levied by the courts against the offenderâ€™s parent or legal guardian.
Anyone under the age of 18 observed in a public place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. unaccompanied by an adult, without a valid exception, will be in violation.
