In a special ceremony during the first meeting of the new year for the Pawtucket School Committee at the Jenks/JMW Complex library in Pawtucket, RI on Tuesday night, January 11, 2011, 83-year-old Mary(Smith)McGrath, center holding a bouquet of flowers, who recently retired after 62 years in the Pawtucket School System as a homebound educator is honored for her 62 years of dedicated service, 1948-2010, to the homebound students of Pawtucket by far left to right, Deputy Superintendent Kim Mercer, School Committee members Raymond Noonan and David Coughlin Jr., former-Chairperson Jon Anderson, Michael Araujo, Nicole Nordquist, Joanne Bonollo, Chairperson Raymond J. Spooner Jr. and Deputy Chairperson Alan Tenreiro, former-Superintendent Hans Delith and Superintendent Deborah Cylke.
