STERLING, MA- Pauline I. LaMountain, 75, formerly of Pawtucket, died unexpectedly on November 15th at Clinton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert H. LaMountain for 56 years.
She was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Herve and Dora (Boie) Heroux and lived most of her life in Pawtucket before moving to Sterling, MA four years ago.
She was a homemaker and her home and family were the center of her life. She was an avid cook and baker and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church, Pawtucket and a member of the choir for many years.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her children Robert P. LaMountain of Pawtucket, Jeanne (Robert) Gravel of Rehoboth, Michael (Sarah) LaMountain of Sterling, MA, and Stephen A. LaMountain of Pawtucket; her sisters Jeanne Foley of Pawtucket and Yvette Paquette of Woonsocket, and her brothers Herve Heroux of Pawtucket and Ernest Heroux of Cumberland, nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Tuesday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia's Church, Central Avenue, Pawtucket at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue.
