Pauline I. Adam
CUMBERLAND- Pauline I. Adam (Tanguay), 72, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 after a long battle with emphysema at Oakland Grove Health Care Center.
She was the wife of Peter Adam. They were happily married for 51 years.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Lea (Fafard) Tanguay.
Pauline worked at Health-Tex for twenty nine years and at A. T. Cross for twelve years before retiring in 2002.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Jeannette Dufresne, Henriette Goldblatt, and Therese Brousseau, and two brothers, Lucien and Robert Tanguay. She also leaves three Godchildren, Linda LaRoche, Robin Tanguay, and Heather Betters, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Helen Salvas, Marie Beatrice Graziano, Maurice and Gerard Tanguay.
The funeral will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 9AM from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road, Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland. Burial will be in Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7PM in the funeral home.
