Pauline H. Gingras
PAWTUCKET - Pauline H. Gingras, 87, of Pawtucket died Thursday, January 27, at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Beatrice (Gendron) Heroux, she had resided in Pawtucket for over 50 years.
She graduated from Roger Williams Homeopathic Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1945, and was a member of its Alumnae Association. For severals years, she worked as a registered nurse in private practice and in several local nursing homes. Subsequently, she was employed as a secretary for L. Heroux & Son until her retirement in 2003. She loved to travel, read and do puzzles.
Surviviors are four daughters: Nicole Kessler of Arizona, Louise Liddle (and husband,Alfred) of Warwick, Michele Pate (and husband, Anthony) of Warwick and Constance Monaghan (and husband, John) of Pawtucket: one son, Paul A. Gingras of Pawtucket; one brother, Gerard A. Heroux of Central Falls and two sisters: Madeline L. Heroux of Central Falls and Constance T. Lischio of North Kingstown; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be be held on Wednesday (Feb. 2) at 9 a.m. from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
