Pauline C. Tremblay
LINCOLN - Pauline C. Tremblay, 92, died Thursday, April 10, 2014 at Mt. St. Rita Health Center, surrounded by her devoted family. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred Tremblay for 63 years prior to his death in 2010.
Pauline was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley, born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Anna (Vincelette) Lussier. She was a machine operator at Paramount Cards, Central Falls, until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the Choir at Notre Dame Church, Holy Spirit Parish for many years. She was an avid card player and fan of the Boston Red Sox.
She leaves a son Roger Tremblay of Lincoln, two daughters, Rose Marie and her husband Robert 'Bobby' Williams of Asheboro, NC, and Alice and her husband Leo Saucier of Coventry, four grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Estelle Fontaine, Hortense Gobeille, and Fred, Roland, and Lorenzo Lussier.
Her funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue on Monday, at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Jude's Church, Front Street, Lincoln, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home on Sunday April 13, 2014, from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island or Mt. St. Rita Health Center in her memory would be appreciated.
