PAWTUCKET - Olive (Caldwell) Stewart, 93, of Francis Avenue went home to the Lord on Monday, January 9, 2012 at the Tockwotton Home, Providence. She was the wife of the late Andrew Stewart, who died January 9, 2001. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart were married 59 years.
Born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late James and Louisa (Simpson) Caldwell, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Mrs. Stewart was a secretary at Lorraine Mills, Pawtucket and later was a server for the Rhode Island School Lunch Program for over 20 years before retiring.
She was an 82-year member of the former First United Presbyterian of Central Falls and Calvin Presbyterian Church, Cumberland, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a Deacon.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathleen A. Wallace of Pawtucket; two sons, Douglas J. Stewart of Belgrade, MT and Andrew H. Stewart of Fort Collins, CO; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one niece and several nephews. She was the sister of the late Irwin and William Caldwell.
Relatives and friends may call at Calvin Presbyterian Church, 126 Angell Road,Cumberland SATURDAY 10:30 - 11:30 A.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 A.M. Private Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
