Norma L. Dingley
RUMFORD - Norma L. Dingley, 88, of Rumford Towers, Rumford died Monday, May 16, 2011. She was the wife of the late Earle R. Dingley.
Mrs. Dingley was born in Attleboro MA, the daughter of the late Chester J. and Gladys E. (Perkins) Greenwood. She graduated from the Sturdy Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and was a longtime member of their Alumni Association. Mrs. Dingley was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket for over eleven years.
Mrs. Dingley is survived by her children, Leonard J. Dingley of Rehoboth MA, David B.Dingley of Smithfield, and Susan J. Barbour of Pawtucket. She also leaves her brother, Ralph P. Greenwood of Seekonk MA, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Gary and Raymond Dingley and the sister of the late Helen Greenwood.
There will be a funeral service for Mrs. Dingley Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Her burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Dingley will be Wednesday 5-7 p.m.
