New shop hawks positive energy

PAWTUCKET — Just walking into the 7 Stones Emporium in downtown Pawtucket makes one feel like saying, “Ahhhh.” From its lightly fragranced air to soothing earth-tone décor, the new shop located at the triangular end of the historic McDevitt Building offers vibes of tranquility, positive energy and mental and physical well being.
Owner and proprietor Doreen Stafford said the gift shop is a longtime dream of hers that fulfills her entrepreneurial spirit. She has a professional background in the non-profit sector, including with substance abuse and domestic violence agencies. She also owned a company called EarthArts that produced natural and herbal tinctures, bath products and teas, and has also done a lot of international travel to developing Third World countries.
