PAWTUCKET - Nedeh Kanakry, 91, of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2011. She was the wife of the late Habib "Hap" Kanakry.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Farrah) Sabbagh. Nedeh was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
She is survived by a daughter, Mariann Falcetti and her husband Mark of Simi Valley, CA; two sisters, Josephine Sabbagh and Margaret Hanna, a brother, Samuel Sabbagh, two grandchildren, Karl Hayman and Nancy Ames and three great grandchildren. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rose Domaney.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Saint Basil the Great Church, Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Saint Basil's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited.
