LINCOLN - Matilda "Tillie" (Palagi) Clark, 91, of Boulevard Avenue, Lincoln passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at the Phillip Hulitar Center, Providence.
She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Peter and Sarah (Finnucci) Palagi and was the wife of the late William W. Clark III. Mrs. Clark was employed as a Processor of Student Loans with the RI Higher Education Assistance Authority for many years before retiring.
Tillie leaves her sons, William J. Clark of Windsor, ME, and his wife Jean, Richard Clark of Wells, ME, and his wife Susan Cox, Bruce W. Clark of Foster, RI and Alan Clark of Lincoln, RI. She also leaves her grandchildren Lara, Carolyn and Charlotte.
Mrs. Clark was the sister of the late, Mary Martini, Edward Palagi, Emma Farley, Philip Palagi, Peter Palagi, Anne Valcourt, Rica St. Jean, Ella Krzak, Iola Davenport and Henry Palagi.
The funeral for Mrs. Clark will be Wednesday at 8:30 am from the MANNING - HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Jude's Church, 301 Front Street, Lincoln at 10:00 am.
