LINCOLN - Mary T. Horan, 94, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2012 at Epoch Assisted Living, Blackstone Blvd., Providence, RI where she has resided for the past 6 years. She was the devoted wife of 48 years of the late Willard V. Horan.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, the daughter of the late Mary (Conlon) Campbell and William F. "Leo" Campbell, she resided in Pawtucket util 1979 when she moved to Lincoln, RI where she lived for 27 years.
Mary was in the 1st class at St. Edward's School, Pawtucket, now known as Woodlawn Catholic Regional School where her 4 children graduated from.
Mary was a 1934 graduate of St. Xavier's Academy.
She was a member of the St. Edward's Mothers Guild and the St. Raphael Academy Womens Auxillary. She also served as a volunteer at Mt. St. Rita's Health Centre, in Cumberland for many years.
She is survived by her 4 children, Michael F. (Mary) of Providence, William T. (Paula) of Narragansett, R. Kevin of North Kingston and Sally A. Dillon (David) of Providence. She was the grandmother of 11; Monica and Christopher Horan, Amy Jaillet, Jeffrey, Daniel, Matthew and Billy Horan, Brendan and Maggie Horan, Ryan and Sean Dillon. She was the great grandmother of 7; Sarah, Charlotte, and Will Fellingham, Kylie, Kayden and Jamison Jaillet and Connor Horan.
She was the mother-in-law of the late Deirdre Horan and the sister of the late Alice Sherry and Francis, Joseph and James Campbell.
The funeral procession will be departing the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln on Wednesday February 1, 2012 at 9:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln, RI. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI. In deference to her wishes calling hours are omitted.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Woodlawn Catholic Regional School, 61 Hope St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
