Mary A. Rodrigues
CUMBERLAND - Mary A. (Calista) Rodrigues, 83, of Lincoln Manor, passed away Tuesday at the Grandview Center, Cumberland. She was the cherished wife of Joseph M. Rodrigues.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late John Q. and Carolina (Nobrega) Calista. She resided in Lincoln for the past 37 years, previously residing in Central Falls.
Alice was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Central Beverage Company for over 35 years until her retirement.
She was a life-long communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Alice was an avid reader, loved to crochet, and crossword puzzle aficionado. Among all of her interests, the most important part of her life was her family and friends.
Besides her loving husband; she leaves her sisters-in-law, Mary Calista, Linda Calista and Doris Calista, her husbands family, as well as her many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late John, Joseph and Jim Calista.
A celebration of her life will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Saturday from 8:30-9:45 AM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
