Mary F. Bergeron
PAWTUCKET - Mary F. Bergeron, 77 of Pawtucket died Thursday at the MemorialHospital of RI in Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of Arthur Bergeron. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Andrew and Antoinette (Morettini) Marchi, she had been a resident of Pawtucket for many years, and was a communicant of Our Lady of Consolation Church.
Prior to retirement, she had been employed as a Floor Lady at the former J & K Sales in Pawtucket. She was a founding member of the Pawtucket Slaterettes and a member also of the Our Lady of Consolation Ladies Guild. She was an avid bingo player.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Michele (Kenneth) Gauthier of Richmond and Andrea (Robert) Gagne of Pawtucket; one brother: John (Concetta) Marchi of Connecticut and one sister: Margaret (Paul) Sabino, also of Connecticut, 6 grandchildren, 4 greatgrandchildren and one great-great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Monday (July11) at 9:00 AM from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Association, 245 Waterman St., Providence RI would be appreciated.
