Marion L. Pothier

PAWTUCKET - Marion L. Pothier, age 88, died Saturday November 2nd 2013 after a brief illness. She had been a resident of Pawtucket for 55 years.
Born in Providence to Joseph E. and Katherine A. (Duffy) Pothier.
She attended Hope High School, was a graduate of Bryant College and earned two Master Degrees from Bentley College and Boston University. She taught business at Natick, MA High School for most of her career. She later worked for Cyborg Systems, Inc. as a software programmer.
Over the past 10 years Ms. Pothier has volunteered her time delivering food with Meals on Wheels and at Jeanne Jugan, Little Sisters of the Poor. She was an avid golfer and a former member of the Pawtucket Country Club.
She is survived by her brother, H.F. Pothier and his wife Mary Jo Pothier as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph E. Pothier Jr. and her sister M. Virginia (Pothier) Vitale.

A Mass Of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel of the Jeanne Jugan Residence, Pawtucket, Tuesday November 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited. Arrangements by Karol A. Romenski & Sons, Inc. Funeral Home.
