PAWTUCKET - Marie-Claire Y. Johnson, 74, of Pawtucket passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on June 30, 2012. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Johnson.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late George and Aline (Penelle) Lefebvre. She was a Registered Nurse at the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital for over 30 years.
Mrs. Johnson was an active member of St. Raymonds Church in Providence. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Shawl ministry and a member of the Leisure Group there.
Claire is survived by her children, Robert Johnson of West Warwick, Christopher Johnson of West Greenwich, Scott Johnson PFD, of Warwick and Lisa Johnson of Pawtucket.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Marissa, Briana, Trenton, Nolan and Paige, a brother Alfred Lefebvre of Wappingers Falls, New York and two sisters Rita Malloy of Lincoln, and Lucille Pigeon of Chepachet.
She was the sister of the late Theresa Depot, Gertrude Vigeant, Lillian Arcisz, Edouard Lefebvre and Gerard Lefebvre.
The funeral for Mrs. Johnson will be Friday, July 6, at 10:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raymonds Church, 1240 North Main Street, Providence at 11:00 am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Marys Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Johnson will be Thursday 4-7 pm.
