Maria A. Branco
CUMBERLAND - Maria Alice Branco, 75, of England St. passed away Tuesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the beloved wife of Joaquim Branco.
Born in Pisao, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Jose and Maria A. (DaSilva) Rosa. She came to this country in 1967 settling in Cumberland.
Mrs. Branco was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland and a member of the Uniao Benificente Portuguese, Pawtucket.
Besides her husband she leaves a son John S. Branco and his wife Christine (Oliveira) of North Attleboro. She also leaves a daughter, Rosinda S. Branco and her companion Timothy Aker of Cumberland. She also leaves three brothers Ernesto DaSilva; Diamantino and Elo Rosa all in Portugal and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
