Margaret R. Doiron
HAMPTON, NH - Margaret "Peggy" Doiron of Hampton, 64, formerly of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Oceanside Skilled Nursing Center in Hampton.
She was born in Portsmouth on July 24, 1947 to the late William and Jeanne (Gagne) Moreau.
Peggy worked for years as a retail manager at Caron Charles before retiring in 1995 due to illness. She loved her computer; surfing the internet, e-mailing friends and family, and playing interactive games. She also enjoyed walking, especially in Atlantic Heights, speaking with her neighbors and people watching. She believed in always helping others and "doing good everyday."
The former wife of Oscar L. Doiron, she leaves their son, Peter L. Doiron and his wife Lisa Ann of Cumberland, RI, two brothers; Robert Moreau and his wife Michelle of Johnston, RI, Paul Moreau of Las Vegas, NV, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Peggy left with special words for her cousin Cheryl Marsolais and her husband Robert of Rye, "Thank you for always being there for me." She also wanted to thank Mary Anne Parnell, Eucharistic minister at St. Catherine of Sienna, "Your visits and talks were so beneficial to me, thank you."
At Peggy's request there will be no services and in lieu of flowers, please submit donations to the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) 1729 King Street, Suite 200 Alexandria, Virginia 22314.
