Margaret M. Sidla
CUMBERLAND - Margaret M. (Mooney) Sidla, 84, passed away Tuesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Anthony Sidla.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Theilig) Mooney. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.
She was employed as a secretary for Ann & Hope for over 20 years.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church.
She leaves one daughter, Ann Marie (Normand) Desmarais of Cumberland; four sons, Kenneth (Natalie) Sidla, Robert Sidla (Claire) both of Cumberland; David Sidla (Barbara) of Pascoag, and Richard Sidla of Cranston; five brothers, Edward Mooney (Benita), Jack Mooney (Joan), Gerald Mooney (Joan), Paul Mooney (Carol), all of Cumberland, Lawrence Mooney (Mary) of Pawtucket; nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Anthony Mooney, Raymond Mooney, Leo Mooney, Joseph Mooney, David Mooney, Ruth Mooney, and Rita Happenny.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 8 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in St. Patrick Church, Broad St., Cumberland. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, 4:30-8 PM.
