Margaret M. Bruno
PAWTUCKET - Margaret M. "Peg" (Lanigan) Bruno, 90, of King Philip Road died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pawtucket. She was the wife of the late Rocco Bruno, M.D.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary(O'Donnell) Lanigan.
Mrs. Bruno was a registered nurse at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, Pawtucket and also worked in her husband's office in Cumberland. She was a member of the Memorial Hospital Alumnae Association.
She was a communicant of St. Teresa's Church, Pawtucket.
She is survived by one son, Rocco M. Bruno of Pawtucket; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alice Stratton, John Lanigan, Joseph Lanigan and Rev. Leo Lanigan, CSSR.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held THURSDAY, JANUARY 27 at 11 A.M. in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
