HARRISVILLE - LaMontagne, Lucien R., 70, of Harrisville, died Sunday, July 15, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Gail W. (Aldrich) LaMontagne and son of the late Raymond and Jeanne (Ferland) LaMontagne.
Lucien was a member of the Carpenters Union, AFL-CIO for over 30 years and served as a construction superintendent. He had served in the US Navy, was a member of the Hopedale Pistol and Rifle Club, held his private pilots license and was an amateur Radio Extra.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Michelle L. Marinaro and Michael A. LaMontagne; Grandchildren, Dante, Adriana and Hailley; Brothers, Roger, Armand, Raymond, Ernest, Henry LaMontagne and sisters Lucille Coutu and Anne Gaboriault
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:30 am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rt. 44) Greenville with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Ave. Burial in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated. Information and condolences,
