PAWTUCKET - Louise V.A. (Perry) Giuntini, 93, of Pawtucket, died peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Harold J. Perry and Anna L. (Flanagan) Perry, she was the wife of the late Ivano C. Giuntini.
Mrs. Giuntini was employed as a Twister for J.P. Coats for ten years, then as a Shipper at Fram Corp, and finally as a Marker at Weintraubs. She was a communicant of the Church of the Sacred Heart in Pawtucket, a member of the church Guild for many years and a Eucharistic Minister at Fogarty Housing for 20 years.
She leaves her beloved son, Charles H. Giuntini and his wife Maureen of North Augusta, SC and was the cherished grandmother of Robin and Matthew of San Diego, CA and Jason of Baton Rouge, LA, and great-grandmother of Ryan. She was the sister of Claire T. Wilkinson of Winfield, IL and the late Frank and Harold Perry. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Residence one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Little Sisters of the Poor will be appreciated. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
