Lois H. Bruzzi
PAWTUCKET - Lois H. Bruzzi, 79, of Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket died Friday, January 28, 2011 at the Phillip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. Lois was the wife of Joseph E. Bruzzi. They had been married 58 years.
Mrs. Bruzzi was born in Pawtucket the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Cameron) Sullivan. She was employed at St. Josephs Parish in Pawtucket for many years, but her true vocation was as a loving mother and wife to her family.
Besides her husband Lois is survived by her children, Joseph F. Bruzzi and Christine of Providence, Steven R. Bruzzi and Jayne of Pawtucket, Don M. Bruzzi of Boston, Ma., Lori A. Bruzzi of East Providence and Linda M. Figura and William of Attleboro, Ma. She also leaves her sister, Sr. Gladys Sullivan RSM of Cumberland and her brother Walter E. Sullivan of Florida. Lois had eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edith Gatley, Raymond Sullivan, Geneva Meaney, Russell Sullivan, Shirley Gretchner and William Sullivan.
The funeral for Mrs. Bruzzi will be Tuesday at 9:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00am. Her burial will be in Mt. St.Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Bruzzi will be Monday 4-7 pm.
