Lois F. Jackson
CUMBERLAND - Lois F. (Rainey) Jackson, 75, of Mendon Road died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Albert A. Jackson.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Charles and Isabelle (Pollock) Rainey, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life before moving to Cumberland 12 years ago.
Mrs. Jackson was a bookkeeper at the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket for 12 years, retiring in 2005.
She was a graduate of Pawtucket West High School.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Gayle Bavaro and her partner, David Chan of Las Vegas, NV; two sons, Keith A. Jackson and his wife, Lynn of Pawtucket and Kevin D. Jackson and his wife, Patricia of North Scituate; one foster daughter, Sandra Ray of Phoenix, AZ: three sisters, Nancy Salisbury of New Hampshire, Barbara Kiernan of Foster and Charlene Connors of Cumberland; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Rebello and her grandsons, Christopher Jackson, Lee A. Rebello and Corey Bavaro.
As a 21-year friend of Bill W, she was an inspiration to many people who benefited from her guidance and wisdom.
Her funeral will be held SATURDAY, DECEMBER 11 at 8:45 A.M. from the BELLOWS- FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with Services at 10 A.M. in the First Baptist Church, 91 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
