Lena A. Boulanger
PAWTUCKET - Lena A. Boulanger, 83, of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Miriam Hospital, surrounded by her family. Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of the late Anthonio and Leanora (Quaglia) Sylvester. Lena was an LPN for 44 years, working at Cape Cod Hospital, and Sturdy Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Pawtucket Democratic Committee, and various senior citizens groups in the Pawtucket area.
Lena will be missed by two daughters, Linda and her husband Carl DeOrio, Jr. of Deering, NH; and Debra Boulanger and her husband Alfred Franco of New Providence, NJ; her four grandchildren, Carl, Lindsay and Rachael DeOrio and Paul Franco; a sister, Cesina and her husband Robert Mayers of Attleboro, MA, and a brother, Chief Frank Sylvester and his wife Estelle of Pawtucket RI; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Saint Teresa's Church, Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday from 5-8pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Lena's memory to the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
