PAWTUCKET - Lawrence T. Blake Jr., of Columbus Avenue, Pawtucket died July 1, 2012. He was the husband of the late Clara I. (Poirier) Blake.
Mr. Blake was born in Pawtucket the son of the late Lawrence T. Blake Sr., and Helena (Ash) Blake.
Mr. Blake was a WWII Veteran of the United States Army and a longtime member of the American Veterans Post #33.
He is survived by his children, Lawrence T. Blake III of Pawtucket, Thomas J. Blake of Wheatridge, Colorado, and Faith Allis of Loveland Colorado. Mr. Blake is also survived by his four grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Margaret Ralph.
The funeral for Mr. Blake will be Friday at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His burial will be a graveside service with full Military Honors in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery. The calling hours for Mr. Blake will be Thursday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
