PAWTUCKET – Lauretta Barriere, 91, of Pawtucket, died Sunday at Oakhill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Sylva Barriere. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late David and Eva (Sabourin) Nantais.
Mrs. Barriere had been employed as a heat sealer for the former Red Farm Studios until her retirement.
She was a devout Catholic.
She is survived by her son Richard Barriere of Pawtucket, her daughters Pauline Bidwell of Michigan and Linda Trainor of Rehoboth MA, her sister Doris Plouffe of Attleboro MA, 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Henry Nantais.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary's Church, Pine St., Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Tuesday 3-7 pm.
