Kathleen B. Messier
PAWTUCKET - Kathleen B. Messier of Pawtucket died on March 26, 2014 from complications associated with Alzheimers Disease. She was the wife of George Messier. They had been married 58 years.
Mrs. Messier was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (McCabe) Regan.
Besides her husband George, Mrs. Messier is survived by her children; Kathleen Fontaine of Plainville, Ma., Diane White of Pawtucket, Barbara "Babs" Messier of Plainville, Ma., Thomas Messier of Saunderstown and Karen Ray of Milton, Georgia. She also leaves her twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sisters Patricia Devlin and Rita Almeida and a brother Thomas Regan.
The funeral for Mrs. Messier will be Monday at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Messier will be Sunday from 2-5 pm in the funeral home.
