Juan Y. Vidal
PAWTUCKET - Juan Y. Vidal, 63 died at home in Pawtucket on Sunday. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Arias) de Vidal. Born in the Dominican Republic, a son of the late Fernando and Elvira (Santana) Vidal, he had been a resident of Pawtucket for several years. He loved the New York Yankees. Prior to retirement two years ago due to illness, he had been employed as a custodian in supermarkets.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Juan Vidal of Lawrence, MA, three daughters: Elvira A. Vidal of the Dominican Republic, Maria C. Ramirez and Tatiana M. Vidal, both of Pawtucket; five grandchildren; one sister, Rosa Vidal; three brothers: Juan, Rafael and Antonio Vidal. He was predeceased by three siblings: Milagro, Rolando and Cesar Vidal.
There will be calling hours in the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Saturday (Feb. 4, 2012) from 2:00 to 5:00 PM - followed by the funeral service at 5:00 PM.
