CENTRAL FALLS - Josephine Jamro 91 formerly of Cross Street passed away Saturday August 6, 2011 Oak Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Waldemore J. "PEE WEE" Jamro.
Born in Central Falls she was a daughter of the late Walter and Rozalia Jagielo.
Before retiring she was a co-owner with her late husband of the former Joe's Caf of Central Falls. Mrs. Jamro enjoyed gardening and sewing.
She leaves 2 loving sons Stanley J. Jamro and his wife Linda of Cumberland, Edward S. Jamro and his wife Joyce of Florida, 1 sister Sophie Lowe of Attleboro and 1 brother Walter Jagielo of Cumberland, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Joseph and Walter Jamro and the sister of the late Mary Hinds and Joseph Jagielo.
Mrs. Jamros funeral will be held Wednesday August 10, 2011 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend and may call at the Funeral Home from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Mrs. Jamro's memory to Home and Hospice Care of Rhode Island 1085 North Main Street Providence, RI 02904-9826 would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery East Providence.
