Joseph Leo Riendeau
LINCOLN- Joseph Leo Riendeau, 78, of Lincoln, died Thursday at home. He was the husband of Claire (Brochu) Riendeau for 57 years.
Born in Berlin, NH, he was a son of the late Arthur and Aurore (Lauzon) Riendeau.
He was a graduate of Johnson & Wales. Before retiring Mr. Riendeau was a personnel specialist for the 4th Brigade 76th division. He put in a total of 42 years in the military services and retired with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.
He was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister of Historic St. Joseph Church, Cumberland and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife he leaves a son David Riendeau and two daughters Linda Serabian and Lynn Correia all of Lincoln; his brothers Albert of Pawtucket and Sylvio of Texas; his sister Helen Bacon and her husband Leo of Cumberland; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Omer and Roland Riendeau.
His funeral will be held on Monday at 8:30 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial with military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Sunday from 3-7 pm.
