Joseph F. Bodell
PAWTUCKET - Joseph F. Bodell, 76, of Pawtucket, died at home surrounded by his loving family on May 3rd. He was the husband of Joan M. (Kelley) Bodell. They were married for 55 years.
Mr. Bodell was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Leo A. and Elizabeth F. (Devlin) Bodell.He owned and operated Bodell Plumbing and Heating for many years.
He leaves behind two daughters, Rosemary Lavoie of Rehoboth and J. Kelley Bodell of Warwick, two sons, Joseph E Bodell of South Kingstown and William E. Bodell of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, one sister Rachel Choiniere of South Attleboro, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Leo, Lionel, and Anthony Bodell, Regina Calabro, Elizabeth Bodell, Dorothy Harvey, Bernice Sullivan and Frances Keogh.
Mr. Bodell was an active member of St. Teresa's parish in Pawtucket. He was also an active member of the Pawtucket Lodge of Elks.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 9th, at 11:00 am in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 in Mr. Bodell's memory.
