Joseph A. Belch
WARWICK - Joseph A. Belch 68, of Creekwood Drive passed away Wednesday April 4, 2012 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Carole A. (Thurber) Belch.
Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late Joseph and Stella A. (Rogala) Belch. He lived in Warwick for the past 31 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring he was employed as a Printer at United Printing for 31 years. He was a member of the Rhode Island National Guard during the Vietnam War for 6 years. Joe was a softball coach for 20 years for former Surkonts Cafe.
Besides his wife he leaves one stepdaughter Karen M. Thurber of Pawtucket, two stepsons Thomas W. McCartin and his wife Kim of East Providence and Brian E. McCartin of Brattleboro, VT, two sisters Wanda S. Belch and Irene J. Campbell and her husband Robert of North Providence, along with four step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Monday April 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS MONDAY FROM 9:00 AM TO 11:00 AM. PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS.
