Jorge E. Rubio
PAWTUCKET - Jorge E. Rubio, 62, of Perrin Avenue, entered into eternal rest, Tuesday at Memorial Hospital, after a battle with Mesothelioma. He was the husband of Lyda (Valderrama) Rubio and had lived in Pawtucket for the last 34 years.
He was born in Cali, Colombia, a son of the late Narciso and Ana (Ceballos) Rubio. He had formerly been employed at Providence Metalizing Co., American Insulated Wire and more recently by W.E. Pray Trucking of Seekonk for the last 10 years.
Besides his wife, he leaves 3 sons, Jorge A. Rubio of Providence, Alexander and Charles Rubio both of Pawtucket and 8 Grandchildren. He also leaves 4 Sisters, Zoyla, Concepcion, Mariela and Amalia Rubio, all in Colombia, 2 cousins, his Mother-in-law Lyda Valderrama and 6 Sisters-in-law.
A Requiem Eucharist Service will be held, SATURDAY at 10 AM in St. George's Episcopal Church, Clinton St. Central Falls. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. VISITATION, FRIDAY from 5 until 8 PM in the CHARLES COELHO FUNERAL HOME, 151 Cross St. Central Falls.
