John P. Donais
PAWTUCKET - John P. Donais, 87, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Born in Fall River, a son of the late John and Rose (Roppe) Donais, he resided in Pawtucket most of his life. John was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, he served in Europe with the 70th and 3rd Infantry Divisions. He was employed as a Quality Control Inspector at Corning Glass Works and later G.T.E for 45 years before retiring in 1988.
He leaves two nephews, Thomas W. Warzeka of East Providence and John F. Warzeka of Cranston and a grandnephew, Ryan Warzeka of Cranston. He was the brother of the late Marie Lorraine Warzeka and Francis M. Donais.
VISITATION will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Kindly omit flowers, gifts in his memory to Catholic Relief Services, 228 West Lexington St., Baltimore, Maryland 21201-3443 would be appreciated.
