PAWTUCKET - John J. Maliboski 95, passed away Sunday May 20, 2012 at Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Mary B. (Valente) Maliboski.
Born in Central Falls he was a son of the late Joseph and Frances (Golis) Maliborski. He lived in Pawtucket for the past 60 years.
Before retiring John was employed by Buckley and Scott Heating and Oil Co. as a Boiler Technician for many years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Korea serving as a Sergeant First Class.
He leaves two sisters Christine Hormanski of Newark, DE and Helen Juskiewicz of Norwood, MA, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Angela Curran, Josephine Olowiecki, Agnes "Peg" Walek, Irene Clark and Stanley Maliborski.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Thursday May 24, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Maria Goretti Church 155 Power Road Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
