Joel M. Callahan
FT. MYERS, FL. - CALLAHAN, Joel M., 41, died unexpectedly Thurs. Nov. 8th at his Ft. Myers, Florida, home from hemorrhagic pancreatitis. He was born in Providence, and grew up in Pawtucket. He was the beloved husband of Binky (Lim) Callahan, and son of Elizabeth (Callahan) Miller and Mordecai Miller. He is also survived by his brother Raymond E. Callahan, and several nieces and nephews.
Joel was previously employed by Union Wadding in Pawtucket, RI, and South Seas Plantation on Captiva Island, FL. He also worked at Chico's and Sam Seltzer's Restaurant in Ft. Myers, Florida.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 am from the Lincoln Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am to be held at St. Jude Church, 301 Front St., Lincoln. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 5 to 8 pm.
