Joan A. DiGregorio
CUMBERLAND - Joan A. DiGregorio, 77, formerly of Pawtucket, died Saturday. She was the wife of the late Frank G. DiGrigorio.
Born in Cranston, April 17, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Arthur H. and Alma (Belander) Dufresne. She lived in Pawtucket most of her life and had resided in Cumberland since 1978.
She is survived by a son David W. DiGregorio and a daughter Karen J. O'Brien both of Cumberland, two grandchildren, Kayla L. Rocha of Cumberland and Frank D. DiGregorio of Newport. She was the long time companion of Daniel J. Hunter of Cumberland and sister of the late Ann Hathaway.
Mrs. DiGregorio was the Secretary of the Recreation Department for the Town of Cumberland since 1994. She previously worked in account payables department at the former Ann & Hope Co., Cumberland for 10 years.
A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Rd., Cumberland. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
