CENTRAL FALLS. Jeanne H. Godin, 85, formerly of Washington Street, passed into eternal life on Sunday at the Ballou Home in Woonsocket after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Victor E. Godin.
She was born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Rose Alba (VanDale) Durand and lived all her life in the city until moving to Woonsocket 8 years ago. Jeanne had been employed as a teller at the former Credit Union Central Falls, now Navigant Credit Union, for more than 17 years. She had been a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and was a member of the Ste. Anne Sodality of that parish. She was also a member of the Notre Dame Seniors.
She leaves 2 sisters, Theresa Porter her principal caregiver and Pauline Chabot both of Cumberland, nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 Am from the CHARLES COELHO Funeral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road Cumberland at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Friday morning prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Condolences,
