PLAINVILLE, MA- Janice (Pollard) Goyette, 76, long time resident of Plainville passed away Tuesday February 21, 2012 surrounded by her loving family in Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Goyette.
Born May 25, 1935 in Cumberland, Rhode Island daughter of the late George Pollard and Alice (Eccles) Pollard Gonyeo and her husband William Gonyeo
She grew up in Cumberland and was a graduate of Cumberland High School.
Janice is survived by her sister, Glenda Watters of Pawtucket RI; three sons, John Oldham of North Attleboro, Gary Oldham of North Attleboro, David Oldham of Pawtucket, RI; a daughter, Elizabeth (Oldham) DAmelio and her husband Stephen D'Amelio of Bellingham ; two granddaughters, Jaime Oldham of Providence RI and Sarah DAmelio of Bellingham as well as several nieces and nephews.
Janice left a lasting impression on people over the years. She loved to laugh and spend time with her children, grandchildren, and best friends at Hilltop Terrace. She was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed her crossword puzzles.
We love and miss you Mom.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford Street, Providence, RI 02903.
