James R. Walsh
ATTLEBORO- James "Jimmy" R. Walsh, 48, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Born in Warwick, he was a son of Lois E. (Tallman) Walsh of South Attleboro and the late Thomas E. Walsh.
James worked as a household furniture mover for the Sterling Moving Co. for over 20 years.
He was a devoted son and brother, caring for his mother and sister over the last seven years. Jimmy was a car enthusiast and he also enjoyed fishing, holding yard sales and following wrestling.
He leaves two sons, Joshua J. Walsh of South Attleboro and Nicholas T. Walsh (Catherine Jollimore) of Attleboro; a grandson, Shawn F. Walsh; four brothers, Thomas E. Walsh and his wife, Valerie in Vermont, Raymond M. Walsh and his wife, Cindy of Albany, NY, Steven F. Walsh and his wife, Judy of Narragansett, RI and David A. Walsh and his wife Virginia of Pawtucket; two sisters, Shirley A. Klegraefe of Seekonk and MaryJane "MJ" Walsh of South Attleboro; many nieces, nephews and his best friend, Robert L. Iavarone of Pawtucket.
VISITATION will begin on Wednesday at 12 p.m. followed by Services at 2 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Jimmy's memory to the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl.
