James M. Wright

LINCOLN: James M. Wright, 83, passed at home on July 29th. He was the husband of Beverly E. (Brooks) Wright.
Born in Lincoln, a son of the late William J. Wright Sr. and Henrietta (McCaughey) Wright. James was a history teacher at Lincoln and Foster-Gloucester school systems for 25 years. He also served as the basketball coach in Foster-Gloucester. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, a life member of the VFW Post 602 and also the American Legion Post 14.
He is survived by a son, Andrew Brooks Wright and his wife Tricia of Roseville, CA, a brother, William J. Wright Jr. of Uncasville CT, a sister, Henrietta L. Rodgers of Cumberland and two grandchildren, Tiffany and Tracy. He was the brother of the late Kenneth and Garvin Wright.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 2 to 4pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. For online condolences foster visit
