Jack L. Blum Sr.

CUMBERLAND - Jack L. Blum Sr., 77, of Glenside Rd., passed away Friday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of Leona M. (George) Blum.
Born in Howe Township, PA he was the son of the late Robert M. and Reva L. (Akin) Blum. He resided in Cumberland for the past 50 years.
He was employed by the Orchid Mfg. Co., Lincoln for 10 years until his retirement. Mr. Blum was a U. S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post 14, Cumberland and a member of the VFW.
Besides his wife he leaves four children, Denise L. Zollo and Nancy M. Blum both of Cumberland; Bonnie Sue Beauregard of North Attleboro and Jack L. Blum Jr. of Burrillville. Two sisters, Myrna Weimer and Verdeen Zuendell both of Pennsylvania. He also leave eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Robert, James and Leo Blum.
Funeral services with military honors will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm.
