Irene T. Fagnant
S. ATTLEBORO - Irene T. Fagnant, 73 died on Monday in Attleboro, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Richard R. Fagnant and the daughter of the late Georges and Dorilla (Viau) Ledoux. She was a communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Church in S. Attleboro, where she had been a resident since 1968.
Prior to retirement in 2000, she had been a receptionist at the Woodlawn Credit Union in Pawtucket for twenty-five years. She was a member of the United Food & Clerical Workers Union, liked to do ceramics and to play the piano and especially to visit with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of Attleboro, she is survived by three daughters: Debra Paul of Cumberland, Lorene McCaffrey of Napa, CA and Donna Jankowski of Seeekonk and six grandchildren: Matthew and Alyssa Paul, Julie and Kailey McCaffrey and Emily and Nicolas Jankowski; two sisters: Doris Proulx of Bristol and Jeanne Allard of Woonsocket; three brothers: George Ledoux of Millville, Normand Ledoux of Lincoln and Charles Ledoux of Florida.
The funeral service will be held on Friday (Dec. 30th) at 10:00 AM in the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, RI Visitation on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to APDA, P.O. Box 41659, Providence, RI 02940 would be appreciated.
