Henry J. Fortin
NORTH PROVIDENCE - Henry J. Fortin of North Providence and formerly of New York City, New York died on June 10, 2013.
Mr. Fortin was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Armand J. Fortin and Madeline L. (Sartini) Fortin. He was employed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency for many years before he retired in 1996.
Mr. Fortin was a World War II Veteran serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his sister Loretta L. Lussier of North Providence, and Anita Coffey of Pawtucket. He also leaves his brothers Arthur A. Fortin of Peabody, Massachusetts and Armand R. Fortin of North Providence.
He was the brother of the late Gerard Fortin and Arcade Fortin.
The funeral for Mr. Fortin will be Saturday at 9:00 am from the Manning - Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His burial with full Military honors will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
