Henry D. Theroux
PAWTUCKET - Henry D. Theroux, 77, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, December 2nd. He was the devoted husband of the late Patricia (Grimes) Theroux. Mr. Theroux was born in Pawtucket, the son of the late Henry J. and Mary 'Mazie' (Welch) Theroux. He lived most of his life in Cumberland until moving to Pawtucket twenty-five years ago.
Mr. Theroux was a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Cumberland for 37 years prior to retiring several years ago. He was a former member of AFL-CIO Council #94 and the former American Legion Post #14. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He leaves two sons, Joseph (Joanne) Theroux and Mark (Sarah) Theroux all of Pawtucket, 5 grandchildren, a great-grandson, and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late David Theroux and brother of the late James and Douglas Theroux.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 6th at 11:00 a.m. in the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket and burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
