Helen M. Howarth
PAWTUCKET - Helen M. Howarth, 90 of Pawtucket died on Thursday, March 14, 2013 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Howarth was the wife of the late George E. Howarth, Jr.
She was born in Providence the daughter of the late Frank J. Barker and Helen A. Fanning. Mrs. Howarth was a longtime parishioner at St. Teresa's Church in Pawtucket. She was a past President of the St. Teresa's Senior Club, a member of the Rosary and Alter Society and a former Den Mother for Pack 11. She was a champion cook most noted for her Chocolate Chip Toll House Squares.
Mrs. Howarth is survived by her children, George K. Howarth (Robin), Robert J. Howarth, and Gregory P. Howarth (Theresa). She also leaves five grandchildren. She was the mother of the late James F. Howarth and the sister of the late Dorothy Norton.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Howarth on Monday, March 18, at 11:00 am in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. The calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:00 am in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
